One Hard Head ....
This day I tested the protective qualities of a BELL 'Venture' bicycle helmet, ONE FINE PRODUCT!
A passing FORD F-150 4x4 truck 'brushed' me with it's right side FOLDING outside mirror.
Described truck component hit me DIRECTLY in the rear of this helmet causing multiple fractures within it's protective foam but NO damage my skull, IT PERFORMED VERY WELL!
One very sorry and concerned driver explained he NEVER SAW me in FULL RED attire or RED Masi bicycle.
Caution, one-third (1/3) of males are COLOR BLIND!
Purchased a new (replacement) BELL 'Venture' helmet and contacted Bell Sports about post-analysis of their now damaged product.
Alive to 'Bicycle yet another day' ...
